About the Event
How is the burden of dengue increased by changes in climate? What are the health consequences of heat-waves? How are affected populations adapting their health systems to climate effects?
We are hosting a live session where we will go through basic concepts in Planetary Health by following the UN:CC-learn “Human Health and Climate Change” online course. We’ll run through key aspects of the course and use them as starting points for group discussions, focusing on 3 main areas:
- Climate Effects on Health
- Strategies for building climate-resilient health systems
- Health co-benefits of climate mitigation strategies
At the end of the session, each participant can take the online quiz in the platform and get a certificate of completion. Everyone who sends their certificates to ucl@studentsforglobalhealth.org can one of the 5 x £10 ETHICAL SHOP™️ vouchers we have to offer.
RSVP Now and see you then!
